W wyniku starań rodziców i nauczycieli w 1999 r. w Trzemeśnia powołano do życia gimnazjum, które mieści się w starej części budynku szkoły podstawowej. Na pierwszego dyrektora powołano mgr Andrzeja Jaska, który pełni tę funkcję do dziś. Aktualnie do gimnazjum uczęszcza ok. 280 uczniów z Trzemeśni, Zasani, Poręby, Buliny i Łęk. Oprócz dyrektora pracuje tu także 28 nauczycieli, którzy nauczają różnych przedmiotów w szkole.
