Past continous digunakan untuk aksi yang sedang terjadi di masa lampau.

Struktur : S + was/were + present participle

Past Continuous biasanya disandingkan dengan past simple ( S + preterite).

Past Continuous digunakan untuk kejadian yang terjadi lebih dulu dan belum selesai lalu dipotong oleh past simple.
