a) 2x (x-1) = 2x²+4
b) ½x (4-6x) - ⅓x (9x-12) = -2x (3x+1)
c) (y-2) (3+2y) - y² = y² + 5

2x² - 2x - 2x² = 4
-2x = 4
x = -2
b) ½x (4-6x) - ⅓x (9x-12) = -2x (3x+1)
2x - 3x² - 3x² + 4x = -6x² - 2x
6x² - 3x² - 3x² + 2x + 4x + 2x = 0
8x = 0
x = 0
c) (y-2) (3+2y) - y² = y² + 5
3y + 2y² - 6 - 4y - y² = y² +5
2y² - y² - y² + 3y - 4y = 5 + 6
-y = 11
y = -11
