Tell about charity event, you or someone you know took part in?

jak wyżej. czyli proszę o jakąś odpowiedź w 3 zdaniach, czy coś takiego... po angielsku oczywiście.

It was in the winter 2011/2012. My friend was convincing me to participate in the WOŚP. At the beginning i wanted not to do that but then I saw in the TV how helpful can it be for other people and i decided that i will do that for their's sake. I didn't know it would be so fun just walking around with the box and collecting money for people with diseases - especially children. I felt it raised my spirit and I was proud about that what am I doing for those people.
