Effie01Hi Lucy! How are you? I am writing to you to tell you about education in Poland. In Poland, education is compulsory from 6 to 18 years of age, then we must attend school. We attend kindergarten if we are 3-6 years old it isn't compulsory. After the kindergarten we go to the elementary school where we learn to 6 years. It is a basic science that we have yet school subjects such as arts, or music. Go to middle school aged 13 to 16. Education at this stage is three years, we learn two foreign languages and school subjects such as Polish language, geography, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, history, science and physical education. Then begins a more serious period in our lives. We choose upper secondary school. Some go then to high school, where they learn basic subjects, and some choose technical schools. At technical schools we learn to normal subjects, such as in high school, but also vocational subjects. After graduating from high school, we can finish our education, or go to college.
