Czytanie licz po angielsku jest proste. Najpierw czytamy liczbę (cyfrę), która stoi jako pierwsza od strony lewej, nastęnie czytamy dalej od strony lewej do prawej. Pamiętaj, że setki, tysiące, miliony, biliony itd. występują zawsze w liczbie pojedynczej.

Przykłady:

- 200 - two hundred, najpierw mówisz dwa, a następnie sto.

- 15 000 - fifteen thousand, najpierw mówisz piętnaście, a potem tysiąc.

- 963 - nine hundred, sixty three, najpierw mówisz dziewięćset, a potem sześćdziesiąt trzy.
