Chłopak coś przed nią ukrywa i nie chce jej zdradzić swojego sekretu. Bella odkrywa jego tajemnice. Dowiedziała się, że Edward jest wampirem. Dziewczynie to nie przeszkadzało. Bella zakochała się w Edwardzie. Edward zabiera Belle do siebie do domu, aby zapoznać ze swoją rodziną. Po krótkim czasie dziewczyna poznaje też wrogie wampiry, które chcą ją dopaść. Edward nie dopuszcza do skrzywdzenia Belli. Na końcu idą razem na bal.
