3. My shoes were cleaned and my suit was brushed.

5. Nails mustn't be hammered into the walls without permission. 

6. In some districts pigs are used to find truffles. 

7. Light was switched on and the door was open. 

8. The picture had been slashed with a knife. 

9. The old theatre is being pulled down.
