I think one day it might be necessary to colonise the moon or other planets. People are not taking good care of Earth. They are polluting it and do not want to change their behavior. Earth is warming up and someday it may be too hot to live on. However, I don't believe that the moon or other planets will be easier to live on either.

 

Some people may disagree with me. They may say that we won't destroy our mother Earth. They believe that people will wake up in time and save it from destruction.

 

I wish they were correct. However, I fear that short-sighted economic interests will always outweigh long-term environmental interests.
