Pertama - tama cari Resistor Total dengan :
(1 : Rp) = (1 : R1) + (1 : R2)
(1 : Rp) = (1 : 12) + (1 : 6)
(1 : Rp) = (1 : 12) + (2 : 12)
(1 : Rp) = 3 : 12
Rp = 4 ohm
Rt = R3 + Rp
= 4 + 4
= 8 ohm
Lanjutkan dengan mencari Arus listrik Total dengan :
Vt = It x Rt
12 volt = It x 8 ohm
It = 12 : 8
It = 1,75 A
Jika It = 1,75 A,maka I3 = 1,75 A
Karena I3 seri, maka :
V3 = I3 x R3
V3 = 1,75 x 4
V3 = 7 volt
Karena V3 = 7 volt, maka :
Vt = V3 + Vp
14 = 7 + Vp
Vp = 14 - 7
Vp = 7 volt
Karena Vp = V1 = V2, maka :
Vp = V1 = V2 = 7 volt
Karena V1 = I1 x R1, maka :
7 = I1 x 12
I1 = 7 : 12
I1 = 0,58 A
