zat terlarut = naftalena C₁₀H₈ (massa = 4,39 gram; Mr = (12x10)+(1x8) = 128)

Kenaikan titik didih naftalena adalah,
ΔTb = [massa naftalena/Mr] x [1000/massa CCl₄ x Kb
ΔTb = [4,39/128] x [1000/100] x 5,02
ΔTb =1,72°C
∴Titik didih larutan naftalena dalam karbon tetraklorida CCl₄ adalah,
= Tb + ΔTb = 76,8 + 1,72 = 78,52°C
