I was unemployed for six months. However, I’ve just got a new job and the ......1...... is £20,000 a year, which is great. During the previous six months I’ve had to .........2......... money from my parents, but now I’ll be able to pay it back. I also used up quite a lot of my....... 3....... , which I wanted to use to buy a house. I hope that in my new job I will..... 4...... enough money to do that one day. If you are not .......5 ......money, life can be difficult. I used to walk round the parks and the scenery was wonderful, but you still need .......6....... to buy a cup of coffee! When I was ten years old, my parents opened a bank ........7........ for me so I could save my pocket money every month. I was very careful with my money and I still am today. For example, I never use a .......8......... card because it’s extremely easy to get into debt. Unfortunately, I’ve also learned not to .........9........ money to friends because they don’t always pay it back! You can’t depend on .......10...... the lottery, either. I buy a lottery ticket every week and I’ve never won anything!
