I prefer having an interesting but not much paid job. In my opinion everyone should feel ok in his job. When you are bored, you have no satisfaction from your job. After a certain time human will feel unhappy and depressed. People who have interesting job feel good. They want to become better and better at what they do. It is know that sometimes financial situation doesn't allow to wait for a better job, but in the long run it is very unhealthy for people.
