3 cos 2x + 10 cos x - 1 = 0
3 (2 cos² x - 1) + 10 cos x - 1 = 0
6 cos² x - 3 + 10 cos x - 1 = 0
6 cos² x + 10 cos x - 4 = 0
(3 cos x - 1)(2 cos x + 4) = 0
3 cos x = 1 atau 2 cos x = -4
cos x = 1/3 atau cos x = -2
yg diambil cos x = 1/3
tan x = 2√2
cot 2x = 1/tan 2x 
= (1 - tan² x)/2tan x
= (1 - (2√2)²)/4√2
= (1 - 8)/4√2
= (-7/16)√2
