I disagree that books are better than film adaptations. Many people have not got enough time to spend on reading a book and watching a film is a better choice for them. It is also more accessible as you can just sit on a comfortable chair and watch it without any effort. You can watch it with your friends and have fun together. You can hear all the sounds and see different places and characters instead of having to imagine it all in your head. It makes the story more famous because more people watch movies than read books. It allows you to see the story through the eyes of the director ( albo from the director’s view ).It is perfect for children who can’t read yet but love literature . Movies are usually more engaging than books. Some people find it hard to understand the language used in a book and they understand it better when they see it in a movie. You always have to stop reading a book and continue another day / time as it takes too long to read it in one day. It is different with films as it can take you about two hours to see the whole movie from the beginning to the very end without having to wait another day to find out what will happen next.
