Hi Emily, I got some bad news. I broke my leg and I can't come to your party. I hope you forgive me.
Last night I was hiking in the mountains with my family. We were having a great time, but my brother decided to scare me. I got so afraid, I fell and broke my leg.
Now I got my leg in plaster and can't walk by myself. The doctor says I will be able to walk again in two weeks.
Could you visit me someday? I'm really lonely. I'm looking forward to seeing you. Love, XYZ
