Suatu induktor diberi sumber tegangan AC 100 volt, arus yang mengalir 1 Ampere, jika diukur dengan Ohmmeter, induktor tersebut berharga 99 Ω. Jika frekuensi sumber 50 Hz, berapakah kapasitas induktansi L ?

Diketahui : V = 100 Volt
I = 1 A
R = 99 Ω
f = 50 Hz

Jawab : Z = V/I = 100/1 = 100 Ω

XL = √(Z^2-R^2 ) = √(〖100〗^2-〖99〗^2 ) = 14,106 Ω

XL = 2 . π . f . L

L = XL / 2 . π . f
L = (14,1 / 2 . 3,14 . 50) . 100mH
= 44,9 mH
